Today marked a special day for the club as we have played our first ever 11 a side match against a very strong Ashford team.
it was a game of 2 halves with our inexperience showing in the first half where we headed into half time 3-0 down.
We had multiple chances in the first half but just couldn't convert
it was a very competitive game that did get a little passionate at times but was a fantastic game to watch.
after we went 4 down everyone dug deep and the fightback started.
We managed to score 4 goals in the second half and ended up losing 6-4 in what was a tight game.

for half the team it was the first time ever they had played an 11 a side game and 90 minutes.
there are to many players to congratulate everyone really done well,
Special mention to the youngers that played getting a taste of adult football today.
10 of the players today are under the age of 18 so the future is bright.

Player of the day today went to Matthew who was dangerous every time he got on the ball providing two assists.

Well done everyone we will get another one in this year
